Have you heard of the Heart of a Man series? It’s one of the events coming up at STCC. On Thursday, Dec. 3, 2 p.m., students and the general public are invited to attend the virtual Zoom event. The discussion is titled “Black and Blue: A Dialogue on Police Violence and Men of Color.” Click here to register and find out more information.

It’s December and S T C C students are in the final stretch of the fall semester. If you’re thinking about taking college classes, now is a perfect time to apply. On Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 4 p.m to 4:45 p.m., STCC will hold a virtual open house. This is a chance to meet with representatives from the college’s degree and certificate programs and departments. You can ask questions about fields of study and when you can start classes at STCC.

At the virtual open house, you can find out about the winter session that runs December 23 through January 19. STCC’s online winter session includes dozens of general education classes. You can sign up if you’re a current STCC student or if you’re going to another college or university. It’s a great opportunity to get ahead during the winter break.
