STCC celebrates its 55th year with a big gala on Oct. 6 at Springfield Marriott Downtown to support students. The college will continue to recognize the anniversary with the theme “STCC: 55 Years of Gratitude and Grit” throughout the fall and spring semesters.

In recognition of our 55th year as the only technical community college in our Commonwealth, STCC will hold a gala to honor community leaders who have demonstrated resilience and innovative excellence through their work and service within Western Massachusetts.

The resilience awards and gala is scheduled Thursday, Oct. 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Springfield Marriott Downtown. All are invited to attend to help raise money that will go toward supporting students as they transform their lives. Tickets are $100. Student tickets cost $55. RSVP using this link.

The college will honor entrepreneurs, business, and civic leaders — and STCC alumni — who’ve used their time, treasure, and talent to improve and transform lives, neighborhoods, communities, and the region, while also impacting the Western Massachusetts workforce.

Be part of this amazing and unique celebration of STCC and area leaders who have proven as resilient as the fort upon which the College is built. The college was founded in 1967 after the Springfield Armory was shut down by the federal government.
