Renowned World War II author Alex Kershaw on March 22, 1 p.m.-2 p.m., will give a free lecture at the Springfield Technical Community College auditorium on his book “The First Wave,” in collaboration with Springfield Armory National Historic Site.
Throughout this year, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe (“V-E” day) and the recent selection of Springfield, Mass., as an American World War II Heritage City, Springfield Armory National Historic Site is planning a series of lectures by renowned World War II authors.
