It’s been a very busy 2021 for the STCC Foundation. In June, during our 2nd Annual STCC Gives event, we more than DOUBLED our goal and raised over $25,000! Not to be outdone, we also capped-off STCC’s first capital campaign in at least a decade, raising over $2,000,000 for student supports. We’ve also established a strong partnership with Stop & Shop, who offers amazing continuing support for the Ram Cupboard, totaling over $50,000!

The STCC Foundation Board of Directors will hold its Annual Meeting and Retreat on Tuesday, September 21st from 8:00 am – 11:30 am. We will install the newest members of the Board, take a tour of highlighted areas of campus, and will hear from campus staff on ways to continue working to help transform student lives.

Scholarships

STCC will begin the Fall 2021 scholarship process for current students in mid-September. The STCC Foundation offers over 60 scholarships for students of all types, including various disciplines, who hail from certain areas or backgrounds, and who have specific interests. The easy online application process affords students the chance to apply to multiple scholarships at once. Watch for more information and details on scholarship support sessions coming soon!

The STCC Foundation held its Spring Into Wellness Virtual series this spring, which highlighted three areas of wellness and self-care. Participants learned about healthy cooking with Nadim Kashouh, owner of Nadim’s Mediterranean Restaurant, took a financial wellness check-up with STCC Professor Anthony Rondinelli ’92, and had a relaxing self-care session with Sheila Magalhaes ’80, owner of Heartsong Yoga. These programs were made possible thanks to the generous funding of Baystate HealthSmith & Wesson, and The Collins Companies.

The Rams Warrior Society is truly shaped by the college’s alumni and friends – not only do they support our students, but their consistency allows us to better budget financial aid for our students. Your consistent gift allows the college to direct student support on a predictable basis, which for us is invaluable.

Please help us continue to move forward and provide paths for STCC students to achieve their dreams.
