The Springfield Technical Community College’s School of Health and Patient Simulation held a job fair on Thursday to offer students a chance to meet with area medical employers.
About a dozen of SHPS’s practice partners and academic partners set up tables with professional organizations to connect with students who are facing a hot job market. They set up in the lobby of Building 20 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Employers said they were looking to hire STCC students for a variety of positions. Participants included Baystate Health, Berkshire Healthcare, Encompass Health, American International College, Westfield State University, CareOne At Holyoke, Genesis, Springfield Public Schools, Elms College, The American Women’s College, Trinity Health Of New England, Holyoke Medical Center, Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke, University of Massachusetts, Governor’s Center, Chapin Center and Willimansett Centers East and West.
