SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Join Springfield Armory National Historic Site on Saturday, June 21, 2025, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., as we “raise the woof” with our inaugural “Bark in the Park” event. All well behaved dogs are welcome and must be leashed throughout the event. All activities are free and take place on the historic grounds.
Activities will include:
- Picnic with your pup
- Hillshop walking tour
- Make a bandana for your pup
- Go on a scavenger hunt
- Grab a bite to eat at ‘Jeannie’s Weenies” hotdog cart
- Learn about how local dogs helped the war effort during WWII with our “Dogs for
- Defense” program
- Buy special Bark Ranger gear in our bookstore.
