It’s Time to “STCC Together”!

The start of the Fall semester is always a wonderful time on the STCC campus, and this year is especially exciting as we welcome students, faculty, and staff back home as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of many new initiatives rolling-out this semester aimed at improving intra-campus communications, the Office of Communications & Marketing (C&M) is launching a new eNewsletter called “STCC Together.” Please note, that Director of Communications & Marketing Keith Paul is a huge fan of puns, and you might have noticed one or two in uses at STCC!

Launching next week, “STCC Together” is a weekly digest of headlines and other campus updates, in addition to a fun section called “Around the Green” where we’ll feature all sorts of news from across campus. “STCC Together” will be sent on Mondays, or in the case of a holiday, Tuesdays.

The best part is we need your help to help us make this a vibrant and useful publication! Here’s how you can participate:

Around the Green

Head to the marketing section of the STCCNet Portal to share your department’s news! Submissions are due by 5:00 PM on Thursday to be included in the coming Monday’s issue. C&M cannot guarantee your items will be included in any edition of this newsletter, but we’ll do our best.

List Your Event

This Fall, C&M and IT will work together with campus stakeholders to unify the 2 website calendars into one. Our goal is to use categorization to make every public, student, and academic event listed on one place for easy reference and planning.

So, please share your updates and events now on the marketing section of the STCCnet Portal.

Coming Soon

This month, C&M is also rolling out a new Marketing Request “ticketing system” to streamline the team’s workflow to provide better service to you! We’ll communicate more about that as we get it all sorted.
