Students deserve to see themselves in their course curriculum and the instructional designers in the CODL have created facilitation guides, tips, and example materials that allow faculty to pull in activities ranging from: discussions to reflections that could be a single activity or span a longer duration of the course.
The overall approach is to expand the Diversity Speaker Series offerings and allow more students to experience these incredible opportunities.
Professional Day Fall 2021
The Center for Online & Digital Learning (CODL) and the Office of Multicultural Affairs delivered a session at Professional Day titled, “Bring Multiculturalism to Your Classroom, We’re here to Support You!” The session used CODL’s “Inclusivity in Instruction Guide” for faculty to make the most of these opportunities to expand students’ knowledge in any teaching modality.to incorporate inclusivity into any course content.
